Basic formula:
cubic inches (cu in; cu³) * 16,387 = cubic centimetres (ccm; cm³)
The information in British brochures, tests etc. was published until the Second World War in cubic centimetres (ccm or c. c.). Only later, data were entered in cubic inches (cu in.).
Today, the figures in the UK are generally given in cubic centimeters, while the US continues to use cubic inches.
