Brakes
A very effective back-pedalling band brake is fitted, worked by a clutch on the crank axle
A device is added which allows the machine to be wheeled backwards
A safety trigger is provided which at the first revolution of the crank throws the brake into gear, should the rider have forgotten to do so
A front rim brake, actuated by the right-hand inverted lever, is fitted in addition to the back-pedalling brake
