The chassis of the ROVER 8hp 'Eight' is a quite simple construction.

The picture on the left was taken from the exhibition report of the magazine 'The Motor' from November 1919.
The ROVER 8hp is called 'Cycle Car'.

Rear Axle
8hp Achsantrieb Power is transmitted to the rigid rear axle by means of a spiral or worm drive at the bottom. The axle is guided via the two semi-elliptic springs, no damping is provided.
