IT WAS NOT ANOTHER THAN A ROVER Driven by Mr. J. Platt-Batts, who won the Motor Cycling Club's Challenge Trophy, the "Schulte" Cup, both in 1907 and 1908. Last year Miss Agnes Wood on a ROVER 8hp four-seater had the honour of being the first lady to complete the double and win the M.C.C. gold medal. Her confidence in the capabilities of her ROVER car was underlined by the fact that she did NOT take AN MECHANIC and did NOT experience any malfunctions. These achievements alone bear witness to the RELIABILITY, EFFICIENCY & DURABILITY of ROVER automobiles. | ||
