Overview of the chassis of the ROVER 9/20 hp

The chassis of the ROVER 9/20 hp is based on simple, straight lines. Each part has been carefully designed to be as stable and strong as possible without excessive weight. The frame is wide and rigidly connected by cross beams so that deformation is virtually impossible.
In the design, care was taken to make all points that the owner must take into account as accessible as possible. The 9/20 hp is therefore one of the easiest cars to maintain. Every potential buyer should make sure of this before finally deciding on a new car. This is a point that can greatly improve or reduce driving pleasure. With a ROVER 9/20 hp, the owner will find that only an absolute minimum of maintenance effort and cost is required.
As can be seen from the figure above, the four-cylinder overhead valve engine forms a unit with transmission and clutch, while the various engine attachments, such as magneto, dynamo, water pump and carburettor, are neatly arranged. This gives the engine a clean and "professional" appearance. Every part of the entire chassis is of the highest quality - there is nothing "primitive" or "cheap". The 9/20 hp has been designed to serve its owner well and offer full satisfaction. We cannot stress enough that there are no compromises in quality to offer the car at a reasonable price. The "Nippy Nine" has such a good reputation that it has to be preserved!
