The above image shows the ROVER 'Speed Pilot' with the Two-Seater Semi-Coupé - Body by Carbodies, Model Year 1933.
The semi-coupé two-seater on "Speed Pilot" chassis is being built by Carbodies, Holyhead Road, Coventry. The sporty two-seater body with exceptionally racy lines is based on the "Speed Pilot" chassis, which is very low thanks to the underslung frame. The cosiness of a coupé is cleverly integrated into its design by the installation of special sliding glass windows instead of the usual celluloid side curtains. Primarily designed as a two-seater, it has a comfortable dickey seat in the rear, which can accommodate a third passenger on request. The usual complete equipment is provided and the model is exceptionally powerful in every respect with its very light body.
