| Lubrication |
| By full pressure. The sump contains 2 gallons of oil, which is circulated by gear-type pressure pump to every bearing in the engine |

| Cooling |
| Engine cooling is thermostatically controlled |
| The cooling water is circulated by pump and a fan is also provided. Both are driven by link belt from the front end of the crankshaft, and this belt must be kept in correct tension by adjustment, when necessary, of the fan pulley |
| Ignition |
| By Lucas coil and accumulator, the distributor being very accessibly placed |
| Care must be taken to switch off the ignition whenever the engine is stationary, otherwise the battery discharges through the coil |
| The accumulator is carried in the near side front wing, where it is readily accessible for the periodical attention that is very necessary, i.e., attention for level of acid, etc. |
| Fuel System |
| The tank is placed at rear of chassis, and holds altogether twelve gallons of petrol, which is delivered to the carburetter by positive pump. |
| Engine Mounting on Chassis |
| The engine is suspended at three points. The two rear mountings are by special rubber buffers |

| Electrical System |
| Lucas 12-volt ignition starting and lighting is fitted, the dynamo being driven by adjustable silent chain from transmission, and mounted on side of clutch-gearbox-casing. |
